Federal 30% Solar & Battery Tax Credit
The 30% solar tax credit applies on your gross solar system cost. This credit now includes battery systems and post solar installation battery systems add-on’s. The credit can be applied to commercial buildings as well as large-scale utility solar farms.
The IRA allows tax-exempt entities, such as nonprofits like houses of worship, rural electric cooperatives, municipalities, governments, and municipal utilities to receive a “direct pay” incentive.
