  More than 4 1/2 stars, but not quite a full 5 stars.  Reason was because of communication.  They said they would be there at X hour and after waiting beyond then I had to call.  Was told "So-and-so" was stuck on yesterday's job and had to complete it.  I had to insist on them getting someone there when they said they would.  Granted, they were late the first day, but after that things went much smoother.  If all you encounter is a little lateness or lack of communication then you're not doing bad.

When we first met and discussed the project they were clear about what was needed and what to expect.  On that - 5 stars.  The wife and I had several other vendors come out and none of them had the ring of truth.  But Gardner Energy seemed to deal straight from the hip (straight shooter).  We went with an upgrade at my request and the price for such was not bad at all.  Got rid of an old Zinsco 70 amp panel, the kind that is prone to insurance claims for fire.  Now I sleep more soundly knowing I don't need to worry about old equipment.

The panels were installed and are working quite well.  In fact, for having them installed in December, they've produced a fair amount of energy.  It's now mid March and things are looking even better.  If we would only have some clear skies and less snow on the panels.  Looking forward to seeing production numbers come summer.

We're happy with the work and the results.  You will too.  If only I didn't have to jump on the phone a few times.

  It took a while to get the plans straight, partly because of rule changes from RMPower, partly because of some delays in communication back and forth. Then it took a few weeks to get the parts. The installers were fast and efficient, and turned up when expected. They communicated well, as to what to anticipate. Overall very pleased.
